Elite Development Program was initiated in 2026 to provide a development pathway for talented players aligned to the Hills Football Player Pathway.

The GFC Elite Development Program is focused on building the skills and capability of our GFC players. The program offers:

• Increased training @ 3 hrs week
• Paid accredited coaches
• Goal Keeper Coach
• Skills Development Framework
• Personalised shirts
• U8-18 Mixed and Female teams available
• Trials are held in September the year prior to the Winter competition.

The Elite Development Teams play within the Winter Hills Football Program as a GFC team. The difference is the time spent in training and the specific skills program and style of play the program focuses on. This program is about supporting our players to be the best they can be.
