On the weekend of the 23rd-25th of June, Hills Football will be dedicating this round to Mental Health awareness.
According to a 2022 report from the Australian Bureau of Statistics, over two in five Australians aged 16-85 years have experienced a mental health disorder at some time in their life (43.7% or 8.6 million people).
We are fortunate enough to be able to use our platform to raise much needed awareness for the mental health space.
Your mental health is just as important as your physical health and there are many people who understand what it is like to not be feeling like yourself or not coping with things.
We recognise that there are times when we may require additional assistance. It’s essential to remember that seeking help is a sign of strength and self-awareness. Sometimes, a little extra support can make a significant difference in our mental health journeys.
